Challenge
Analyze and annotate vehicle data to drive the advancement of Tesla's Autopilot and full self-driving features, along with the future of vehicle autonomy to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.
My Job
- •Used in-house tools to label images for the Autopilot and/or Tesla Bot team
- •Interacted with team members to help us improve on the design of an efficient labeling interface
- •Used computer vision and machine learning knowledge to better understand how the labels are used by learning algorithms
- •Made judgement calls on difficult edge cases that came up during labeling
Impact
- •Thousands of Tesla Autopilot drivers around the world use the full self-driving software to travel daily.
- •The impact is global and was made possible by a lean, iterative approach to UX design and research.
